A very well attended event with Banner expert users from across the sector, the day comprised of multiple topics and presentations that generated significant interest and discussion.

The Chair, Patrick Brophy, IADT, commenced the event, welcoming the attendees to the event.
Elena Iskreva, DXC then presented on the DXC Release Management Cycle, DXC Team Continuous Improvement, and planned improvements coming to the Dynamics ticket logging portal, along with DXC’s intended use of AI.
HEA were in attendance, and Janice Lau gave a presentation on the progress of the upcoming SRS 2.0. Driven by the ever-increasing requirement from policy makers for student data and statistics, the upcoming changes were acknowledged to be significant. Ms Lau’s presentation, and the supplemental information given by Dr Vivienne Patterson stimulated a lively Q&A session.
Prior to lunch, a discussion on Local Developments such as MDUU, PageBuilder, and Argos yielded useful information. IADT were also happy to announce that they can now share the Argos Master DataBlocks developed in conjunction with DXC.
After a networking lunch, Marea Curtis, SETU Carlow delivered a presentation on her findings from a proposed workaround on Concurrent Curricula (Fogbugz 803) provided by Ellucian some years back.
The day concluded with a discussion on how institutions were managing dealing with 3rd party invoicing. EduCampus looks forward to hosting the next IBUG event in November.
